  We waited an hour for our food and we were never checked on. I even tried to make eye contact but that didn't work. Great food but service could be a little better

  I was very disappointed by my experience at Otani's. The server was not attentive at all and gave us all glasses of water without even asking what we wanted to drinking. (There were maybe only 3 or 4 other tables in the entire restaurant; it was not busy at all) It took her an hour to come back just to even take our dinner order. Our food came out cold. When she gave us our bill, she already added on the tip. There was 7 people in our group and she added a 8-15 dollar tip to every single bill. My friends and I felt taken advantage of due to the fact that she added in the tip (herself) to the bill. We of course would of added a tip but not that generous of one due to the service. My entire meal was $22 and she added a 9 dollar tip on to the bill. I will never eat there again

  Good service and good drinks. Generous amount of fish in the sushi. They use way too much rice. It makes the rolls huge and really hard to eat which is a shame because they have good sushi. I brought it to their attention and they said to take 2 bites per piece. Well that doesn't really solve anything. I keep trying it thinking it will get better but I have given up. You can't taste what you are eating because your mouth is so full from one piece of a specialty roll.
  
  It would help their business to use less rice because people will order more rolls.
